Dutch von Dolphus is a delightful 1-2 year old Dutch Shepherd (mix?).  Our boy Dutch has the trademark smarts and lively demeanor of his smartypants breed, but this handsome guy’s core is all goofball. Exiting the kennel, Dutch enjoys barking his anticipation of new adventures at other dogs. Once he is one-on-one with his human, Dutch is considerably more chill than when in the exciting presence of other four-legged friends. This guy is all about fun and lots of love, so we suspect some of his barking is due to the fact that the (human) ladies respond to his noisiness with attention and hugs. Dutch clearly thrives on lots of both! He is eager to make friends and does well in playgroups, and never starts any trouble. Due to his intelligence, training would be most delightful for Dutch, so he can channel his energy productively at all times. An active home with people willing to give Dutch his daily minimum dose of hugs is ideal. He is probably housebroken and passed his first cat test. We expect you will give Dutch an A+ in all his subjects, too, especially Fun and Love 101.
